The selection panel for Scotland’s New Face will be made up of leading figures in fashion from across the UK . The panel has worked with some of the world’s most successful supermodels and international campaigns. From styling and art direction to photography and providing that inspirational, unique look that front the world’s glossies and grace catwalks in the fashion capitals, they have a collective experience that is second to none.

LISA BUTCHER
Lisa Butcher

As a very successful model and jewellery designer, Lisa Butcher was delighted to be offered the role of co-host on BBC 1’s series “What not to Wear”. Lisa has now presented the show for two series, alongside her good friend Mica Paris. Together they have educated the nation on how to dress to get the most out of ones figure and appearance, with the aim of building confidence.

Lisa first appeared on our television screens in 2006 presenting “Britain’s Next Top Model” for Living TV where she put her expertise and knowledge of the fashion industry to good use. At the age of 15, Lisa was named as the “Face of the Nineties”, by the late Norman Parkinson, and became a main stay on the London fashion stage; featuring in campaigns from YSL to Ralph Lauren and appearing in endless editorials for Tatler, Harper’s and Elle.

Lisa is currently developing several new television projects and is the face of the successful clothing brand Long Tall Sally.

Tessa Hartmann

Fashion entrepreneur and founder of Scottish Fashion Awards & creator of Scotland’s New Face. Tessa runs Scotland’s only dedicated fashion PR agency. She has worked with countless international luxury fashion brands in Scotland and has organized the most sought after fashion parties. As an agency they are respected by their peers and have an unrelenting determination to put Scottish fashion firmly on the international map.

LORRAINE PRINGLE
Lorraine Pringle

Marketing & PR Director Warehouse. Scottish born Lorraine was born in Edinburgh and studied at Glasgow University and is now one of the most influential fashion players on the high street. Having worked with many of the world’s supermodels in the Warehouse marketing campaigns, Lorraine has a mission to give a fresh Scottish face the same opportunity.

Fashion Stylist of Scotland’s leading daily tabloid The Daily Record, Julie will be joining the team in their search across the nation. Julie firmly believes that it’s not just about looks. The right girl must have an inspirational style and great personality to truly succeed in this tough and sometimes demanding industry.

Biography

'With over twenty years experience in the hairdressing industry, Austin Shirley is perfectly equipped to be on the esteemed panel of judges for Scotland’s New Face. As a hugely valued member of the TONI&GUY family, Austin’s creativity has been notably acknowledged within the wider arena of hairdressing, having been nominated twice for British Hairdressing Awards, as 'Scottish Hairdresser of the Year’ in 1997 and 'Men’s Hairdresser of the Year’ in 2002. A regular at London Fashion Week, his creative flair makes him an obvious choice to spot and nurture emerging Scottish talent’.
